Chip is the Vice President of Jones PR, leading both the business-to-business and professional services accounts as well as the firm's marketing efforts. He joined Jones PR in 2013 bringing more than 20 years of experience in public relations, public affairs, community relations, and strategic communications across several business sectors, including politics and government, real estate, aerospace, and investment management.
Chip began his career in the early 1990s in politics and government relations, holding senior positions with several political campaigns in Oklahoma, Mississippi, Iowa, Arizona, and Texas. Of note, he served on Steve Forbes’ presidential campaign in 1996 and was the campaign manager for Oklahoma’s successful Right-to-Work campaign in 2001.
Chip later moved into real estate development with Trammell Crow Company and focused on the aerospace industry, leading the development of the MROTC for Boeing in Oklahoma City before heading his own aerospace and government relations consulting firm. Immediately prior to joining Jones PR, he led the investor relations for an Oklahoma City-based hedge fund.
Chip’s community involvement includes serving as a member of the Oklahoma Humanities Council, the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence's Board of Trustees, the Economic Club of Oklahoma, the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber’s Board of Advisors, and Past President of the Quail Community Foundation Board.
