Emily serves as Assistant Account Executive for the consumer marketing team of Jones PR. She provides full campaign support to clients including tracking media, conducting research, making media pitches, along with drafting news releases and communications plans.
Emily joined the Jones PR team in August 2014. She started her career in the IT industry where she worked in the project management department guiding engineers and clients through the scoping and implementation stages of technology projects. She also is a freelance writer for the Oklahoma Gazette and has received an Oklahoma Society of Professional Journalism award.
When not at work, Emily likes to catch up on the latest movies or books. She enjoys running 5Ks with her friends and helps teach the 4-year-old Sunday school class at Life Church. She loves to travel and recently crossed off an item from her bucket list when she visited England and Ireland this summer.
She graduated with a B.S. in Journalism from John Brown University in 2012. Emily is also a retired college soccer player. After 15 years, she is glad to move on from a player role to a coaching role.
